Disney+ is developing a spinoff series centered on WandaVision's dark witch Agatha Harkness. According to Variety's exclusive report, Kathryn Hahn will continue to play the role of Agatha in the series, which is a black comedy. Neither Marvel Studios nor the producers have revealed details of the plot. Jac Schaeffer, the head writer of WandaVision, will serve as the head writer and executive producer of the untitled series. This will be Jac Schaeffer's first project after signing with Marvel and 20th Century Fox in May. WandaVision is the first live-action Marvel series to premiere on Disney+ and has become the most acclaimed movie since its premiere earlier this year. The show has received many honors, with Kathryn Hahn winning the MTV Movie & TV Award for Best Villain and the Primetime Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress. The song "Agatha All Along" even won the Emmy Award for Best Original Music and Lyrics. |
