The box office of "Changjin Lake" exceeded 2.6 billion, ranking 17th in the history of domestic films

Today (October 6), the official Weibo account of the movie "Changjin Lake" celebrated the film's box office exceeding 2.6 billion yuan. While thanking the audience, it also specially thanked the Xiamen audience for their enthusiasm. It is currently ranked 17th in domestic film history.

According to Xiamen Radio and Television, today is the first day that major cinemas in Xiamen have resumed operations. After 21 days of separation, Xiamen movie fans can no longer hold back their "excited hearts and trembling hands." When many fans heard that they could buy tickets, they immediately bought the earliest movie show near their homes.

"Changjin Lake" stars Wu Jing, Yi Yang Qianxi, Zhu Yawen, Li Chen, Han Dongjun, Hu Jun, etc., and is produced and directed by Chen Kaige, Tsui Hark, and Lin Chaoxian. The film is set against the backdrop of the Battle of Changjin Lake in the second battle of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, and tells a magnificent history: 71 years ago, the Chinese People's Volunteers went to Korea to fight.
