He admitted to evading 130 million yen in taxes over the past three years in order to make the development of the company less difficult.

ufotable is a Japanese animation production company. In addition to animation production, it also has animation planning and copyright management business. ufotable was founded in 2000 by Kondo Hikaru, through Sumitomo Corporation's Step Imaging and Uchida Tsutomu. Recently, it has become famous for producing the "Demon Slayer" animation.

Today, September 17, Kondo Hikaru was tried in public for the first time. He admitted his crime and said he was very sorry for evading taxes in order to make the development of his company less difficult. He sincerely apologized to all Demon Slayer fans.

According to the investigation, Kondo Hikaru used various means to falsely report Demon Slayer's income through his company for more than three years, evading a total of approximately 137 million yen in taxes, which is a case of corporate tax evasion.
