The first trailer of the adapted animation "Flowers Bloom, Like Shura" was released and will be broadcast in January 2025

The manga work "Flowers Bloom Like Shura" written by Takeda Ayano and illustrated by Mushiyu was first serialized in Shueisha's youth manga monthly "ULTRA JUMP" in June 2021. The current volume has been released to the 7th volume.

Recently, the official released the first promotional trailer for the animated adaptation of the same name, and revealed that the animation will be broadcast in January 2025.

It is understood that the animation will be produced by Studio Bind, directed by Uwano Ayumu, written by Kazuyuki Fuyasu, and the character design will be done by Hikaru Aion.

In terms of voice actors, Fujidera Mitoku plays Haruyama Kana, Shimabukuro Miyuri plays Ushiro Mizuki, Izumi Fuuka plays Natsue An, Chiba Shoya plays Fuyuga Hagi, Yamashita Seiichiro plays Akiyama Matsuyuki, Anno Kiyono plays Seiu Ryoko, and Saka Taito plays Hakoyama Setaro.

The original story of "Flowers Blooming, Like Shura" tells the story of Hana, who lives on the small island of Tonarijima with a population of 600, preparing for tomorrow's high school entrance ceremony. Hana is in charge of the island's broadcasting work. She has been conducting recitations on the island since the fourth grade of elementary school, which has become a pleasure for the children on the island. After the recitation, a female high school student who claims to be a member of the broadcasting club of Liziqiu High School, the high school that Hana is about to attend, suddenly heard the voice. From this, a story about the spiritual growth of high school students is unfolded with the broadcasting club as the stage.
