'Up' voice actor for Carl dies at 91

Edward Asner, the voice actor of Carl in "Up", died on Sunday at the age of 91. Edward Asner was a veteran Hollywood actor, with representative works such as "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", "Lou Grant" and "Up".

Edward Asner was the former president of the Screen Actors Guild and won five Emmy Awards for his role as Lou Grant, bringing his total to seven Emmy Awards.

Pixar posted a message on social media to commemorate Ed: "Ed was our real-life Carl: a loving and kind person beneath his grouchy exterior. Xiaoluo, Doudou, and all of us at Pixar will miss him dearly."
