Taika Waititi, the director of Thor 3 and Thor 4, will shoot and write a new Star Wars movie. In an interview with Wired, Waititi said that his Star Wars movie is still in the early stages of script writing. Waititi added: "We've got a story that I'm excited about because it's very me. I tend to go down that sincerity lane in my films. I like to leave the audience thinking, leaving them with something to wonder and something to take away." Waititi is no stranger to Star Wars, having voiced the IG-11 droid in the Disney+ TV series The Mandalorian and also directed the final episode of the first season. It seems like it will be a while before Waititi's Star Wars movie is released. He just recently finished filming the Marvel movie Thor 4. It is worth mentioning that he also made a cameo appearance in Gunn's "Suicide Squad" movie and the recent game movie "Gamer". |
