Netflix animation "Tomb Raider: Lara Croft's Legend" Lara's personality changes drastically

The highly anticipated Netflix animated series "Tomb Raider: Legend of Lara Croft" is about to premiere in October this year. The series will tell the story of Lara Croft after the events of "Tomb Raider: Shadow of the Tomb Raider" and reveal her experiences before she became the adventurer we know as a hero.

In a recent interview, the production team of the show said that they are all fans of the Tomb Raider game and use the game as the main source of inspiration, striving to restore the game experience in action, character movements and overall feeling. The series will explain how Laura established a huge network of relationships and the transformation of her character.

Laura is voiced by Hayley Atwell, who has shown humor, elegance and serious acting skills in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter, which perfectly fits Laura's personality. The production team believes that Hayley is the best candidate to interpret Laura.

"Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft" is produced by Legendary Pictures and DJ2 Entertainment, with Powerhouse Animation Studios responsible for animation production. It will be launched on Netflix on October 10, 2024, so stay tuned!
