CDPR confirms that more Cyberpunk animation projects are in preparation

CDPR has rekindled hopes for the second season of the Cyberpunk: Edgewalker animation and plans to launch more animation projects based on the Cyberpunk 2077 universe.

Recently, during the CDPR earnings conference call, someone asked: "Will there be a sequel to Cyberpunk: Edgewalker?" CDPR CEO Michał Nowakowski replied: "Given the positive response to Cyberpunk: Edgewalker, we see great potential for further exploring the Cyberpunk universe in the field of animation. We will definitely make more Cyberpunk animations, so please look forward to new projects, but that's all I can say for now."

"Cyberpunk: Edgewalker" is a spin-off animation of "Cyberpunk 2077" produced by Trigger. After its broadcast in 2022, it was highly praised by the media and players, and even triggered the return of the popularity of "Cyberpunk 2077", with up to 1 million players logging into the game every day.
