Kate Beckinsale's stills from Awake are revealed

These days, Hollywood actresses are embarrassed to go out unless they star in an action movie. The first stills of the action movie "Awake," starring British actress Kate Beckinsale, were released. The film will be released on Amazon on July 23 and has been described as a female version of "Crank."

The film tells the story of Lindy, played by Beckinsale, a beautiful and funny woman with a painful secret: due to a lifelong, rare neurological disorder, she experiences bouts of violent murderous impulses that can only be dealt with by shocking herself with a special electrode device. Unable to find love and connection in a world terrified of her strange condition, she eventually trusts a man and falls in love with him, only to find him murdered the next day.

Heartbroken and angry, Lindy embarks on a revenge-fuelled mission to find the killer, while being hunted by the police as the prime suspect in the case.
