Superman: The Christopher Reeve Story Preview:

The film will tell the legendary life of Christopher Reeve from an unknown actor to an idol of a generation. With his classic Superman image, he laid the foundation for the superhero movies that are now popular all over the world. In addition to the four Superman movies, Reeve has also starred in dozens of other works, showing his superb acting skills and diverse character creation ability. However, a horse riding accident in 1995 paralyzed him from the neck down, and his life trajectory has changed since then.

Despite his illness, Reeve’s strong will and optimism made him a leader and activist, working to find a cure for spinal cord injuries and advocating for disability rights and care, while continuing to work in the film industry, both as an actor and behind the camera, and devoting himself to his family.

Directed by Ian Bonhout and Peter Ettedji, the directors of McQueen, the film contains a large number of never-before-seen family videos and personal archive materials, as well as in-depth interviews with Reeve's three children about their father for the first time, and interviews with Reeve's colleagues and friends. The film will tell Reeve's extraordinary life story with touching and vivid pictures.
