Castlevania is adapted from Konami's 1989 video game Castlevania Legends, telling the story of the heads of the ancient demon slayer family Belmondo who went through many adventures and finally defeated their nemesis Dracula. The first season of the series was released on Netflix on July 7, 2017, and the season consisted of 4 episodes of about 30 minutes. The second season was increased to 8 episodes and released on October 26, 2018.
