The classic live-action animated film "Space Jam 2" released its first Chinese trailer

The first trailer of "Space Jam 2: A New Legacy" has been released. The super popular NBA champion star "King James" LeBron James joins hands with Bunny and his naughty Looney Tunes friends to have fun during the summer vacation!

After nearly 25 years, the classic live-action animated film "Space Jam" starring Michael Jordan and Looney Tunes characters will finally bring the long-awaited authentic sequel "Space Jam: A New Legacy" this year.

In Space Jam 2: A New Legacy, LeBron James takes over Jordan's role. James and his son Dom are accidentally drawn into a server universe containing more than 3,000 movies and TV shows under Warner Bros. and are trapped there. Dom's talent for designing video games impresses a CGI humanoid creature named Al-G Rhythm, who kidnaps Dom and hopes to use his intelligence to steal James' 80 million IG followers. In order to save his son and escape this virtual world, James must join forces with Looney Tunes characters to win a basketball tournament.

The sequel is directed by Malcolm D. Lee, the director of Girls Trip, and produced by Ryan Coogler, the director of Creed. His brother Keenan Coogler also participated in writing the script. Other starring actors include Don Cheadle, who plays Al-G Rhythm, and Sonequa Martin-Green, who plays James' wife Camilla.

Ryan Coogler admitted that in the early stages of preparation, they hesitated whether to continue using the Looney Tunes characters: "Modern kids prefer to watch other kids perform on Youtube. This is challenging, but we quickly remembered why Looney Tunes still works, and when we see these Looney Tunes characters in the movie, you still get a smile on your face, because if you are from the same generation as us, you will miss them very much."

"Space Jam 2: A New Legacy" is expected to be released simultaneously on HBO Max and theaters on July 16.
