"Avatar" defeated "Avengers 4" and became the global box office champion again

According to Maoyan Professional Edition data, the re-release of "Avatar" box office exceeded 50.906 million. According to today's real-time exchange rate (6.5084), the cumulative box office has exceeded "Avengers 4" (2.7975 billion US dollars) and returned to the top of the global box office list ("Avengers 4" is still the highest-grossing movie in the world for the first time).

In 2019, "Avengers 4: End Game" (US$2.7975 billion) snatched the championship throne from Avatar (US$2.79 billion), and in 2021 Avatar took it back, but in the end the winner was Disney.

"Avatar" was originally released in 2009 (released in mainland China on January 2, 2010) and was re-released in mainland China on March 12.
