Tom Holland: Spider-Man 3 is the most ambitious independent superhero movie

Recently, Tom Holland was interviewed by Variety. When asked about the progress of the highly anticipated Spider-Man 3, he said that the film is the most ambitious independent superhero film ever. Later, when asked about the rumor of "three generations of Spider-Man in the same frame", Tom Holland said he knew nothing.

Regarding Spider-Man 3, which is currently being filmed, Holland said that the film took about two months to shoot and there is a lot of content, but he cannot reveal anything now. He said Spider-Man 3 will be the most ambitious independent superhero film ever.

"You sit down and look at what's in the script, and they've nailed it. It's amazing, I've never seen a standalone superhero movie like it. And I can't stress enough how lucky I am to be playing Spider-Man. We've got a lot of stuff to shoot, we started shooting before Christmas, and we've been shooting for about seven weeks now, with a break during Christmas week and then back to work. I'm as excited as everyone else to see this movie, not to mention how happy I am to be a part of it."

Later, Holland was asked whether Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Kirsten Dunst would appear in Spider-Man 3 as rumored. Holland said: "I don't know! Maybe they will appear, but no one has told me about it yet."

Holland revealed that he had never met Dunst, but he had met Garfield once. He was very nice, optimistic and positive, and they had a good chat. He had met Maguire many times in Los Angeles, and he was also very nice. He hoped that they would have fun watching his Spider-Man series.

When talking about his favorite film and television performances, Holland said that Edward Norton in "Primal Fear" was one of his favorites and his performance was perfect. He learned a lot from this movie. As for whether there is a role he wants to play, Holland said: "As a British guy who loves movies, I want to be James Bond. So I'll put it this way: I look good in a suit."
