Ethan Hawke joins Marvel series Moon Knight as villain

Ethan Hawke is the latest Hollywood star to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to The Hollywood Reporter (THR), Ethan Hawke will play the villain in the Disney+ series "Moon Knight".

THR did not reveal which character Ethan Hawke will play, only saying it is the "number one villain" of the series. Ethan Hawke will star opposite Oscar Isaac, who is said to play a vigilante with super powers. The series is expected to start filming in Budapest (the capital of Hungary) in March 2021.

In the comics, Mark Spector was originally an elite soldier and mercenary. After becoming the human incarnation of Khonsu, the Egyptian moon god, he decided to fight crime. Blessed by the moon god, Moon Knight's physical strength, speed, endurance and strength will be enhanced with the moonlight at night.
