Among them, the box office on New Year's Day was 601 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 107.12%, breaking the New Year's Day single-day box office record of 368 million yuan set in 2018.

It is reported that in the 52nd week of 2020 (December 28 to January 3), the national box office was 2.126 billion yuan, with 56.11 million moviegoers and 2.516 million screenings. The weekly market has soared to more than 2 billion yuan since the 39th week of the National Day.

The champion "Send You a Little Red Flower" had a box office of 759 million in the first four days, and the runner-up "Warm Hug" had a box office of 523 million in the first four days. The strong performance of the two new films helped to successfully end 2020 and start 2021 strongly. The third place "Shock Wave 2" had a box office of 402 million in the second week, which was basically unchanged from the first week, and the cumulative box office has reached 829 million.
