The movie adaptation of the game "Year Zero" adds famous actor Lundgren to the cast

According to the latest news from The Hollywood Reporter, the animated film adapted from the game "Year Zero: Road to Eden" developed by The Bearded Ladies has added two new casts. They are Dolph Lundgren, the famous action star who played the Russian boxer in "Rocky", and Ian Michael Heaney, who played the legendary knight Ser Barristan Selmy in the TV series "Game of Thrones".

The film is produced by Hasraf Dulull, an emerging British animation director (who has worked on the VFX of "Batman: The Dark Knight"), and the film was first announced in 2020. The film was produced using the Unreal 5 engine.

When it was announced in 2020, Dulull said: "I'm excited to say that there's going to be some pretty crazy, nail-biting, non-stop action the likes of which you've never seen before, all driven by emotionally charged and incredibly clever characters and a powerful story full of twists and turns and mystery."

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is a tactical adventure game that combines real-time stealth exploration with turn-based combat. The game was released in 2018 and has received an overall user rating of "Very Positive (88.52% positive rating)" on Steam so far.
