Liu Weiqiang directed the anti-epidemic film "Chinese Doctor" starring Zhang Hanyu and Yuan Quan and completed filming

"Chinese Doctor", adapted from real events in the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic, has wrapped up filming and officially announced its cast: directed by Andrew Lau, starring Zhang Hanyu, Yuan Quan, Zhu Yawen, and Li Chen, with special guest appearances by Yi Yang Qianxi and special appearances by Ou Hao.

The cast also includes: Feng Wenjuan, Geng Le, Liang Dawei, Xiao Ai, Yamei, Yang Qiru, Ye He, Jiang Linyan, Mei Ting, Zhou Ye, Li Qin, Zhang Tianai, Song Jia, Yu Feihong, Ni Hongjie, Feng Shaofeng, Zhou Bichang, Zhang Songwen, Zhang Zifeng, Tong Liya, Gu Jiacheng, Zhao Ningyu, Wang Ting, Yu Ailei, Huang Lu, Yin Xiaotian, Zhang Jiani, Shi Xiaolong, Gao Ge, Liu Lin, Lai Xi, Wan Guopeng, Wang Zhao and others.

"Chinese Doctor" takes the Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital as the core story background, recreating the story of local medical staff in Wuhan and white-coated retrogrades from all over the country, protecting the lives and safety of the Chinese people. The filming of the film took nearly eight months and was shot in Wuxi, Wuhan, Shanghai and Guangzhou. It will be released in 2021.
