Chinese version trailer :

The pair co-star in the new crime thriller "The Small Thing", written and directed by renowned director John Lee Hancock. Kern County Deputy Sheriff Joe Deacon, nicknamed Dick (played by Denzel Washington), is sent to Los Angeles on what should have been a simple and straightforward evidence-gathering mission. Instead, he is drawn into a hunt for a serial killer that is wreaking havoc in the city. Leading the hunt is Los Angeles County Sheriff Jim Beckster (played by Rami Malick), who is so impressed by Dick's police instincts that he privately seeks his help. But as the two track the killer, Beckster is unaware that the investigation has brought back unpleasant memories of Dick's past, and the dark secrets unearthed may have more implications than just threatening the investigation.

"The Little Thing" is presented by Warner Bros. Pictures and produced by Gran Via Productions. It will be released on January 28, 2021 and will be available on HBO Max on the same day.
