Amazon's "Lord of the Rings" series will resume filming and the script for the sequel is being written

According to foreign media Deadline recently, Amazon's TV series version of "The Lord of the Rings" has obtained exemption from the New Zealand government and will resume filming in New Zealand on September 30.

The first two episodes directed by "Jurassic World 2" director J.A. Bayona have been completed. The crew was forced to stop work in mid-March due to the epidemic, but Amazon has already booked the second season in advance, and after filming the first two episodes, it entered the originally planned 4-5 month suspension period, plus it happened to be winter in New Zealand. The crew used this time to write the script for the second season.
