Shenmue Animation Announced Director Sakurai Yoshiyoshi and Producer Suzuki Yu

According to new official information, the animated version of "Shenmue" has been officially announced. The film is directed by Yoshiyoshi Sakurai and produced by Yu Suzuki. There are a total of 13 episodes, which will tell the story of Ryo Hazuki's journey of hunting down the murderer of his father.

It is reported that the Shenmue animation will be produced by the American animation website Crunchyroll and the producer of Rick and Morty, Adult Swim. The director of the animation of Naruto and the second season of One Punch Man, Sakurai Yoshiyoshi, will be the supervisor of the film, and Suzuki Yu will be the producer. The official has not yet disclosed the specific broadcast date of the animation.

Shenmue 3 is a sandbox action-adventure game produced and published by SEGA, built with Unreal Engine 4. It is the third authentic work in the classic Shenmue series. The game is set in China, with Guilin as the main scene, showing the beautiful fantasy world of ethnic minorities.
