According to recent reports from Japanese media, the first part of the classic fantasy anime "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure", "Phantom Blood", will be made into a live-action movie. The first generation JOJO Jonathan Joestar will be played by Shingo Katori. It is scheduled to be released in the summer of 21, so stay tuned.

As the first JOJO (Jonathan Joestar) in the series, Phantom Blood tells the story of how JOJO's father took in the son of his "savior", an orphan named Dio Brando, and raised him to adulthood, but Dio plotted to seize the JOJO family's property and murdered Jonathan's father.
