Disney confirms live-action film "Mulan" will be free online in December

Disney's live-action film "Mulan" will be available on Disney+ streaming on September 4. In addition to paying a monthly fee of $6.99, members will need to pay an additional $29.99 to watch the film. This service is only available in regions where Disney+ services have been launched. Mainland Chinese audiences can watch "Mulan" in theaters starting September 11.

Now Disney has announced that members can watch the live-action movie "Mulan" for free after December 4. Before that, members had to pay to watch the movie in the three months before that, and non-members had to join first to watch it on demand. It is reported that the shooting period of "Mulan" exceeded 75 days and the cost was as high as 200 million US dollars.

The movie "Mulan" stars Liu Yifei, Donnie Yen, Gong Li, Jet Li, Li Jie, An Youxin and others, and is directed by Niki Caro ("The Zookeeper's Wife" and "Whale Rider"). It is adapted from the Disney animation of the same name based on Chinese folk legends. It tells the story of Mulan disguising herself as a man and joining the army in place of her father. She breaks the fate of being a "good wife" and is about to fight and face her true self.

Yesterday (September 2), "Mulan" released a release poster for mainland China, officially set to be released in theaters on September 11, and announced that the original Chinese dubbing will debut in mainland theaters.
