The art director of Dune said that the film is comparable to The Lord of the Rings and is extremely shocking

The much-anticipated new adaptation of the Hollywood sci-fi blockbuster "Dune" is about to be released. Recently, art director Tom Brown talked more about the film. He believes that this film can be compared with "The Lord of the Rings" because the "absolutely grand scale" of the new version of "Dune" and the purpose that director Denis Villeneuve tried to achieve through this story are both shocking.

Tom Brown, art director of the new Dune, said: "I think this version of the story by Denis Villeneuve is a groundbreaking one. I honestly don't think it will be surpassed, the scale of the new Dune movie is daunting. I think it will be very special. I saw in the newspaper the other day that they are looking at a new version of The Lord of the Rings TV series, and I firmly believe in it. I think Dune will be on par with those types of movies, really."

The new version of "Dune" will be divided into two films, with the first one scheduled to be released on December 18, 2020 this year.
