Kitano Takeshi's "Kikujiro's Summer" confirmed to be introduced to mainland China and will be reunited in late summer this year

Kitano Takeshi's masterpiece "Kikujiro's Summer" released a Chinese subtitle poster and confirmed that it will be introduced to the mainland and will be reunited in late summer 2020. This must-see summer movie, which was shortlisted for the Cannes Palme d'Or and scored 8.8 on Douban, will meet the audience in the cinema as the first Takeshi Kitano work to be released in the mainland. The film will be released in a restored version.

The story tells the story of a third-grade elementary school student Masao (played by Yusuke Sekiguchi) who develops a subtle relationship with Kikujiro (played by Takeshi Kitano) while searching for the story of his divorced mother.
