Dune 3 may be released in 2026, and the new film of Monster Universe is scheduled for 2027

Although nothing has been officially confirmed, a third Dune film directed by Denis Villeneuve could hit the big screen in 2026.

According to DEADLINE, Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment have confirmed a December 2026 date, hoping that Villeneuve can get Dune 3 released on that date. It is worth mentioning that the screenwriter for this film has not yet been selected. The director previously stated that this will be the last film in the series.

At the same time, the report also revealed that the release date of a new film in Warner's "Monster Universe" has been set for March 26, 2027. This will be a brand new work in the "Godzilla vs. Kong" universe.
