NieR 2B voice actress Yui Ishikawa received death threats before, police informed that the suspect has been arrested

Japanese famous actress and voice actor Yui Ishikawa and her family were recently threatened with death by a crazy fan ( reported by this site ). Today, on June 4, Yui Ishikawa said that she had received a notice from the police that the suspect had been arrested, and asked fans to rest assured. It is not clear whether it was the same suspect who had previously threatened the director of "Kemono Friends" ( related report ).

According to the agency, the voice actors, their families, and the agency have received death threats since April. On April 19, an anonymous person posted on 5CH, claiming that he would follow the example of Kyoto Animation arson suspect Shinji Aoba, and "set fire to Ishikawa Yui's house, and stab Kimura Ryuichi, Hosoya Nobuyuki, and Yoshizaki Kannon with a knife to repay the kindness of the director Moose".

Yui Ishikawa has voiced characters such as Mikasa in Attack on Titan, 2B in NieR: Automata, and Lucia in Punishing: Gray Raven. She also voiced characters in Kemono Friends. Perhaps because of this, she received the same death threats as the director of Kemono Friends.
