Partnering with "Big Cousin"? Leo may team up with Netflix to create a new comedy film

Recently, it was revealed that Leonardo DiCaprio may join hands with Netflix to join its new comedy "Don't Look Up". It is reported that the film is directed by American director Adam McKay, who has won five Oscar nominations including Best Picture and Best Director for "The Big Short", and "Big Cousin" Jennifer Lawrence has been confirmed to play the leading role in the film.

Don't Look Up is a dark satirical comedy that tells the story of two low-level astronomers who try to pass on the news to the general public who don't know the truth when they discover that a meteorite is about to destroy the earth within 6 months. According to foreign media reports, the film will be jointly produced by Paramount and director McKay's production company Hyperobject Industries.

Prior to this, Leo also accepted the starring task of "Killers of the Flower Moon", another new film jointly produced by Paramount and Apple. "Killers of the Flower Moon" is adapted from the best-selling book of the same name written by David Grann, which tells the famous Indian murder mystery. This film will be the sixth collaboration between Leo and Martin Scorsese after "Gangs of New York", "The Aviator", "The Departed", "Shutter Island" and "The Wolf of Wall Street".

According to foreign media reports, Paramount will be responsible for the production and distribution of "Killers of the Flower Moon", while Apple will help finance it and have the exclusive screening rights for Apple TV+. If "Little Leo" successfully reaches a cooperation intention with Netflix's "Don't Look Up", "Don't Look Up" may start filming before "Killers of the Flower Moon".
