Aoi Yu's new 8K drama "Wife of a Spy" is finished and will be aired on June 6th. New stills released

The new NHK drama "Wife of a Spy" scheduled to be aired on June 6 was officially announced to be completed today on May 21. The film will star Aoi Yu and Takahashi Issey. A large number of new stills were released at the same time. Let's take a sneak peek.

The story of "Wife of a Spy" is set in Kobe, Japan in 1940. Yusaku Fukuhara (played by Issey Takahashi), who runs a trading company, intends to make public the horrific events he witnessed in Manchuria, while his wife Satoko (played by Yu Aoi) is determined to stop her husband's actions for the sake of their happiness.
