"Borderlands" live-action movie first releases clips of Lilith, Roland shooting madman

Foreign media IGN exclusively released the first clip of the live-action adaptation of "Borderlands". Lilith, played by Cate Blanchett, and Roland and others had a gun battle with a madman in the basement room. In the end, the Joker was carried up the stairs upside down by Craig.

The film is directed by Eli Roth (Hostel), who co-wrote it with Joe Crombie, and stars Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Ariana Greenblatt, Florian Munteanu and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The Borderlands movie will be released in the United States by Lionsgate on August 9, 2024.

Plot Synopsis

Lilith (Cate Blanchett) is a bounty hunter with a mysterious past who is forced to return to her hometown, Pandora, the most chaotic planet in the galaxy, on a mission to find the missing daughter of Atlas (Édgar Ramírez).
