Another animation becomes "real"! Disney's "Hercules" will be filmed in a live-action version

Recently, according to foreign media The DisInsider, Disney will adapt the 1997 animated work "Hercules" into a live-action movie.

Disney's animated film "Hercules" is adapted from ancient Greek mythology and directed by Ron Clements and John Musker. It mainly tells the story of how Hercules, the son of Zeus, became a superhero. The film won the 24th American Film and Television Saturn Award, and the theme song "Go the Distance" was nominated for the Oscar for Best Song.

It is reported that this work is planned to be released in theaters after its birth, instead of being directly released on Disney+ like the live-action version of "Lady and the Tramp". In addition, the film is expected to use songs from the original animation and may add new songs. Sources said that Disney is interested in directors such as Jon Favreau ("The Lion King"), the Russo brothers ("Avengers 4") and Gore Verbinski ("Pirates of the Caribbean"), but the final candidate has not yet been determined.
