The TV anime "The Irregular at Magic High School" is adapted from the light novel of the same name written by Tsutomu Sado. The first season of the anime was produced by MADHOUSE and premiered on TOKYO MX, Tochigi TV, and Gunma TV on April 5, 2014, with a total of 26 episodes. The theatrical version "The Irregular at Magic High School: The Girl Who Calls the Stars" was released in Japan on June 17, 2017.
