The director of the old version of "Dune" has no interest in the new version because the old version is his pain

Recently, the new version of "Dune" directed by Denis Villeneuve was exposed for the first time. As the director of the old version of "Dune" in 1984, David Lynch was asked in an interview what he thought of the new version of "Dune". When he was asked if he had seen these stills, he said, "I have no interest in "Dune" at all."

Why? "Because Dune is my pain. I don't have the final cut. I have said this countless times. This is not the movie I want to make. I do like some of it, but this movie is a failure." So he won't watch Dune made by others? David Lynch said categorically: "I just said I am not interested at all."

In fact, director David Lynch has said more than once that "Dune" is his most unsuccessful work, and he is still upset about it because he did not have the final cut.
