Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 may be the series finale and a character will die

Recently, James Gunn, the director of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" series, revealed during an interaction with fans that a character will die in the "Guardians of the Galaxy 3" movie.

Unfortunately, Gunn did not reveal which character will meet us. In the previous "Guardians of the Galaxy 2", Yongdu sacrificed himself to save Star-Lord and bid farewell to this series forever.

Interestingly, Gunn also hinted that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 might be the finale of the series. When asked by a fan whether there will be a Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 4, James Gunn said that after completing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, there are no plans for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 4 for the time being, which means that we might see the finale in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Previously, the director said that Rocket's past will be a focus of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

The Suicide Squad was completed on February 29 this year, and the film was originally scheduled to be released in North America on August 6, 2021. The film "Guardians of the Galaxy 3" will not start shooting until the production of "Suicide Squad" is completed, and Marvel has not yet determined the release date.
