According to a statement from CDPR, the Cyberpunk 2077 film adaptation will not be announced in the near future, but preparations for filming are underway and the script is being written. CDPR employees are developing this story, and the Anonymous Content team, a film studio that has worked on Mr. Robot and True Detective series, also provided support.

Earlier reports suggested that this would be a project starring real-life actors, so it could be a big-budget film. The first details about the Cyberpunk 2077 film adaptation should emerge early next year.
