Mission: Impossible 8 production delayed again due to malfunction of £23 million submarine

According to the British media Daily Mail, the production of Tom Cruise's movie "Mission: Impossible 8: Deadly Reckoning (Part 2)" has been delayed again because a £23 million submarine malfunctioned during filming.

It was revealed that the gantry used to lower the 120-foot-tall behemoth had become stuck and needed repairs after it could not bear its weight, delaying filming for several weeks and significantly increasing the film's costs.

A source told The Mirror: “They are not happy about this as it will slow down production and cost a lot of money every day.”

Mission: Impossible - Reckoning was released last year, but production of the sequel was delayed due to the Hollywood writers' strike.
