Today (February 22), the animated theatrical version of "Doraemon: Nobita's New Dinosaur", which will be released in Japan on March 6, 2020, released a special promotional video, with guest voice actor Takuya Kimura making a surprise appearance.

"Doraemon: Nobita's New Dinosaur" is the 40th Doraemon movie (the 15th in the Mizuta series). It is the second time that director Kazuaki Imai and screenwriter Genki Kawamura have directed a Doraemon movie after "Nobita's Treasure Island" (2018). It is also a commemorative work for the 50th anniversary of Doraemon. This is the first Doraemon movie released in the Reiwa era, and the promotional slogan is: "Hello, New Nobita".

Plot summary: Nobita went to the Dinosaur Museum to experience fossil excavation and accidentally found a fossil. He believed that it was definitely a dinosaur fossil, so he used Doraemon's prop "Time Wrap" to return the fossil to its original state... As a result, twin dinosaurs Xiaoxiu and Xiaomi were born! Nobita raised them with love like a parent, but these two dinosaurs could never survive in the modern world. So, Nobita made up his mind to bring Xiaoxiu and Xiaomi back to their original era, and set off with Doraemon and his friends to the end of the Cretaceous period 66 million years ago...
