After two years of silence, Martin McDonagh, the director of Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, finally announced his new film plan. According to Deadline, he will reunite with Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, who worked with him in The Banshees of Inisheer. The film is called The Banshees of Inisheer and will start shooting this summer. Set on a remote Irish island, the story follows two old friends whose friendship comes to an abrupt end, with dangerous consequences for both men. Filming will begin this summer. "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" was a favorite for the 2018 Oscars, with seven nominations and ultimately winning two Oscars for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor. |
