The poster of the reboot of "Saw" is exposed, and a lonely figure wanders on the quiet street

Recently, the first poster of the "Saw" movie reboot produced by Lionsgate was exposed. Consistent with previous news, the film will be released in North America on May 15.

In this poster, no characters are shown, and the traffic lights are in a strange spiral shape, which echoes the "Spiral" in the title. Currently, it has been confirmed that Samuel Jackson, Chris Rock, Max Minghella and others will be starring in the film.

The latest Saw film, Saw 8, was released in October 2017 to poor reviews. In January 2018, it was reported that Lionsgate had begun discussions on a ninth Saw film. On May 16, 2019, it was confirmed that the ninth film had officially begun production.

It is reported that Darren Lane Bousman, the director of Saw 2 to Saw 4, will return to direct the film, and series producers Oren Cullors and Mark Berg will also return as producers. Comedian Chris Rock will write the story and serve as executive producer, while original creators James Wan, Leigh Whannell and Daniel J. Hefner will also serve as executive producers.

It is worth mentioning that this "Saw 9" was temporarily named "The Organ Donor", and the new name (Spiral: From The Book Of Saw) was clearly used in the poster. The film was originally scheduled to be released on October 23, 2020, but was later advanced to May 15, 2020 and distributed by Lionsgate.
