Gong Li knows witchcraft and turns into a goshawk? Disney's "Mulan" sparks controversy

On December 17, the Japanese version trailer of Disney's live-action version of "Mulan" was released. Through the one-minute video, Chinese netizens gradually understood the Chinese Mulan story from the perspective of foreigners.

English-speaking Mulan, the phoenix that descended from the sky, the nomads that galloped from their saddles onto the city walls, and Gong Li, who was dressed so modernly that she could turn into a goshawk and fly around, all became the focus of netizens' complaints on Weibo.

Gong Li turned her hands up in a "powerful" pose, and then turned into a goshawk and flew directly, as if she had a very strong witchcraft that could change her body shape. Netizens said they couldn't understand it at all, and some even thought it was sad that the classic Chinese story was "fabricated".
