"Pitch Black 4" starts filming on August 27, Vin Diesel returns to star

Hollywoodreporter reported today (May 7) that the fourth film in the Pitch Black series, "Pitch Black: Fury," will officially start filming on August 27, with filming locations including the United Kingdom, Germany and Spain.

The film will be directed and written by David Twohy, the director and screenwriter of the first three films, and Vin Diesel will return to his role. The plot of the film tells how a galactic criminal with a modified eye returns to his home planet. There he encounters his fellow humans who are struggling to survive the constant conflict with mysterious monsters.
