The picture shows a fake poster. Industry insiders pointed out that the release date on this poster is not centered and there are obvious signs of photoshop.

The official Weibo account of "Eight Hundred" also released a statement: "The release date of the movie "Eight Hundred" has not yet been determined. Please refer to the official announcement for all information. Thank you for your attention and support."

On June 25, 2019, Guan Hu's war-themed film "Eight Hundred" was withdrawn from the theaters, with a new release date to be determined. The film company released the news through its official Weibo account, saying: "After consultation between the film company and all parties, "Eight Hundred" has canceled its original release date of July 5 and will temporarily leave the summer schedule. The new release date will be announced at a later date."

The film is directed by Guan Hu and stars Ou Hao, Wang Qianyuan, Jiang Wu, Zhang Yi, Du Chun, Wei Chen, Li Chen, Yu Haoming and others. It tells the story of eight hundred heroes who stayed behind in the Sihang Warehouse and fought alone for four days and nights at the end of the Battle of Shanghai in 1937.
