HBO's classic Game of Thrones ended earlier this year. Emilia Clarke, who plays the role of Dragon Mother, recently talked about the ending of the show in an interview with The Daily Telegraph. Emilia defended the series finale earlier this year, saying it was "logical". Now, she says she's "sad" by the audience's reaction to the Season 8 finale. "Everyone has an opinion and they have every right to their opinion. It's an art to dissect it and process it in any way you wish," she said. "And if you're sad that the show is over and people who loved watching the show, that's frustrating for us, and that sucks, it wasn't the perfect ending that people wanted. But I know we're never going to make everybody happy." Game of Thrones Season 8 received a record-breaking 32 nominations at this year's Emmy Awards. It won a large number of awards in the creative arts categories, and Emilia Clarke ultimately failed to win the Best Actress in a Drama Series award. However, Game of Thrones as a series still won the Best Drama Series award. |
