Disney's live-action version of Snow White is about to start filming and has begun casting

Following the live-action versions of "The Little Mermaid" and "Mulan", the live-action "Snow White" movie is also coming. According to an exclusive report by foreign media thedisinsider, Disney's new live-action film "Snow White" is scheduled to start shooting in Vancouver in March next year.

The film's casting has already begun, and actors are being sought for Snow White, the prince, the evil queen/old woman, and the seven dwarfs. The film is adapted from the 1937 classic animation, Disney's first animated feature film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", directed by Marc Webb ("The Amazing Spider-Man" and "500 Days of Summer"), and is said to be a musical.

Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, songwriters for La La Land and The Greatest Showman, will create new songs for the film. Disney's new live-action adaptation of Aladdin also features Speechless, written by the two. Erin Kressda, screenwriter of The Girl on the Train, is expected to serve as the screenwriter, expanding on the story and music of the original animation.
