Chinese comic "Zombie Brother" will be made into a Hollywood movie, jointly produced by STX Films and Tencent

Do you still remember the Chinese animation "Zombie Brother" (also known as "My Name is Bai Xiaofei")? This original Chinese zombie animation was very popular on the Internet and left a deep impression on people.

Today (September 10), news broke that Hollywood will adapt the Chinese comic "Zombie Brother" into an action comedy film, co-produced by STX Films and Tencent, with Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin as producers. Todd Strauss-Schulson, the director of "Isn't It Romantic", is in talks to direct.

STX Films Chairman Adam Fogelson said in a statement that "Todd is the perfect choice to direct 'Zombie Brothers.'" Previously, the film was intended to be directed by David Sandberg, the director of 'Kung Fury.'

The co-production film "Zombie Brothers" will be starred by a Chinese, telling the story of how he leads a group of New Yorkers to survive when the world is about to be destroyed. Alex Rubens, the screenwriter of "Community", and Ryan Anger, the screenwriter of "Rampage", are writing the script.
