Dwayne Johnson's DC movie "Black Adam" is confirmed to start filming at the end of 2020

Recently, Hiram Garcia, the producer of the DC Universe independent film "Black Adam", was interviewed by foreign media. He confirmed that this DC movie starring Dwayne Johnson will officially start shooting at the end of next year (2020).

Hiram Garcia said in an interview that the success of the movie "Shazam!" gave them great encouragement, and the most important thing was that the success of the movie spread the concept of the DC Universe well around the world: "In the works we are about to launch, "Shazam!" and "Black Adam" are very important..."

"We are excited that Jaume Collet-Serra (director of Black Adam) has finished his current work and the film is scheduled to start shooting at the end of next year (2020)."

In the original setting of the comics, Black Adam, who is Shazam's rival, is a big villain. His real name is Tess-Adam. Thousands of years ago, he was chosen by the wizard Shazam to be the first defender of morality and was given the power of the six Egyptian gods. The powerful power caused his mind to be eroded by evil and he became Black Adam. He attempted to get rid of all wizards and magicians and become the only person in the world who can use magic. He hopes to make the world develop according to his ideal trajectory. He was eventually defeated by the wizard Shazam and sealed for a thousand years.

It is reported that if the filming starts smoothly in 2020, "Black Adam" should be released in 2022, and Black Adam and Shazam will not meet in "Shazam 2", and the earliest they will meet will be in "Shazam 3".
