There is no Avengers 5 in the new plan. Marvel said that the fourth phase is the beginning

Although there have been rumors that Marvel is developing different series, including Young Avengers, Dark Avengers, and New Generation Avengers, the next Avengers is indeed not in Phase 4. Now that Avengers 4: Endgame has surpassed Avatar to become the global box office champion, the Avengers may return after Phase 4. Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, answered this question in an interview.

He replied: "We have an Avengers 4: End Game this year, and as you can see, this is the end of many characters. So Phase 4 is the beginning, and we will bring some new content with familiar characters, such as Black Widow; meet some incredible new characters like Eternals, Shang-Chi; and start a new journey with Doctor Strange and Thor, and they will all exceed people's expectations and will be broadcast on Disney's streaming platform."

In the past year, two Avengers movies have been released one after another. Therefore, before the new Avengers appear, the audience needs time to adapt to the new characters. Perhaps Marvel is making the right choice to temporarily shelve this series. However, despite this, Marvel's movie release schedule in 2022 is still blank, but considering that the first three Avengers were released three years apart, we can look forward to Marvel's plans after 2021.
