The first trailer of "Midway" recreates the fierce sea and air battle between the United States and Japan

The first trailer of "Midway" has been released. The film will focus on the Battle of Midway in 1942. Six months after the Pearl Harbor incident, the US military successfully repelled the attack of the Imperial Japanese Navy fleet at Midway Atoll, and thus gained the initiative in the Pacific theater. This battle reversed the situation of the Allied forces' retreat after the Pearl Harbor attack and was a key turning point in the entire Pacific War.

"Midway" is directed by Roland Emmerich, the director of "2012", "The Day After Tomorrow" and "Independence Day 2", and stars Woody Harrelson, Luke Evans, Mandy Moore, Patrick Wilson, Ed Skrein, Aaron Eckhart, Tadanobu Asano, Dennis Quaid, Nick Jonas and others.

The total investment of "Midway" exceeds 100 million US dollars. Bona Film Group participated in the investment and acquired the distribution rights in China. The film will be released in North American theaters on November 8.

It is worth mentioning that "Battlefield 5" will also join the Pacific battlefield this fall, and three maps will be launched before 2020, one of which will be the Iwo Jima map, which is expected to be launched in November or December.
