New stills of "The Voice of the Nation" King Sejong created the Korean alphabet because Chinese characters were difficult to write

After playing the Joseon King Yeongjo in "The Throne", Song Kanghao once again plays the Joseon king in the new film "The Voice of the Nation". This time he plays King Sejong the Great. "The Voice of the Nation" focuses on the story of King Sejong the Great of Joseon creating the Korean alphabet. The film will be released in South Korea on July 24. Today, the new stills of the film were exposed, let's take a look.

The film tells the story of people who made great contributions to the creation of Korean characters but were not remembered. Park Hae-il plays the role of a monk who made great contributions to the creation of "Hunminjeongeum". This is his second collaboration with Song Kang-ho after "The Host". Queen Soheon, the wise wife of King Sejong, is played by Jeon Mi-sun. The two had previously worked together as a couple in "Memories of Murder".

"The Voice of the Nation" is written and directed by Cho Cheol-hyun, the screenwriter of "The Throne", and this is his first time as a director.
