Starring cast for Game of Thrones spinoff A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight announced

The long-announced but long-delayed spin-off series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight has revealed its two leading actors, with Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell playing Ser Duncan the Tall and Egg respectively.

The drama is adapted from "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" by George RR Martin, which is a spin-off of "A Song of Ice and Fire" consisting of three short stories: "The Hedge Knight", "The Sworn Knight" and "The Mysterious Knight". It tells the story of Sir Duncan the Tall and his squire Egg traveling the world and witnessing historical events such as the Blackfyre Rebellion and the Blood Raven Reign. The background is about 100 years before the story of "A Song of Ice and Fire".

It is reported that the spin-off series "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight" will be broadcast in 2025 and is expected to be broadcast for 3 seasons. The subtitle of the first season also corresponds to the name of the first chapter of the novel.
